Ward 3 Specialty Programs: Admission Information
There are several excellent secondary schools in Ward 3 (Etobicoke-Lakeshore) that offer a wide range of programs. In addition, we have a unique arts-based middle school: Karen Kain School of the Arts, and an elementary level (Kindergarten to Grade 8) sports and wellness academy: James S. Bell Junior Middle Sports and Wellness Academy. At the high school level,聽聽offers a student-success-focused聽program plus Advanced Placement, CyberArts and Specialist High Skills majors.
LCI's hosts an聽open house in November聽and admission is open to all students within the local catchment area. . Students must decide on an arts major.
At the middle school level, . 测听promotes the development of healthy and active lifestyles for students from Kindergarten to Grade 8. Students take part in daily physical activity and learn about the connection between good nutrition, health, physical activity and wellness. Admission is from the home school catchment or by optional attendance as space allows.
